MofAA is proud to present the best of the Sygma Archive, spanning the last 50 years, and featuring iconic photos from around the globe. In a unique effort to preserve the millions of slides, negatives, and prints that capture history, the Sygma Preservation Project was initiated in 2004. The goal of the project is to ensure the preservation and continuity of the collection, while making it accessible by professionals for consultation, purchase and research.
